New Office Headquarters

Office headquarters, Burton Latimer estate

Thank you for visiting this consultation website

Weetabix is undertaking pre-application public consultation on proposals to develop a new office headquarters on the Burton Latimer estate.

The proposals include associated car parking, servicing, landscaping and ancillary works, with vehicle and pedestrian access to continue from Polwell Lane.

We value local knowledge and welcome your input and we’d be grateful if you could take some time to review these proposals and to fill in the feedback section.

About the Burton Latimer estate

Weetabix was established at the Burton Latimer estate in 1932. Over the decades, the site has steadily expanded, incorporating modern production lines, packaging facilities, logistics infrastructure, and administrative buildings. However, this expansion has largely occurred organically and in response to evolving technologies and operational demands.

As a result, activities are now spread across a dispersed estate, reinforcing the need for a more consolidated, future-fit building that supports integration, efficiency, and a renewed sense of place and community.

Now serving as the company’s global headquarters, the Burton Latimer campus remains central to Weetabix’s operations and cultural identity.

Site Location

The site for the proposed new office headquarters is on the north eastern side of the Burton Latimer estate, by the entrance from Polwell Lane. The site currently contains the Brooklands warehouse and a garage, which are now surplus to requirements.

The proposal is part of a wider transformation programme for the site. It enables relocating existing staff into a new, strategically located workplace that provides a modern and sustainable working environment for approximately 300 employees.
